The Central Library is functioning since August 1988, housed in a separate three-storied library building named 'Saraswat Bhavan' in an area of 5100 sq.mtr. approx., out of which reading area is 1500 sq.mtr. The Library has a good collection of all subjects and has strong collections in botany, chemistry, computer science, economics, environmental science, history, food & nutrition, management, mathematics, microbiology, bio-technology, political science, religion, philosophy, Vedic studies, and zoology. In addition to general & reference books, the collection also covers journals, reports, conference proceedings, statistics, audio-visual material, and CDs. Readers are benefited with lending services, reading room facility, reference services, etc.
