The Department of Pharmacy was established in the year 2023. The Department offers B.Pharmacy (4 year course- Semester Scheme) and D.Pharmacy (2 year course – Annual Scheme) and these both courses are approved from PCI (Pharmacy Council of India). The course curriculum is extensive and extremely relevant to present health scenario. The Department of Pharmacy is developed to address the demands of the dynamic Pharmacy profession. Department of Pharmacy is engaged in nurturing pharmaceutical professionals who can adapt to rapid changes in science and technology and also to prepare the budding pharmacists for the versatile needs of pharmaceutical industry.

The Department of Pharmacy has all the necessary infrastructure and equipment to run the B.Pharmacy and D.Pharmacy Course. The Department aspires to provide Quality education and a stimulating environment for an all-round development of the students.The students of Department of Pharmacy can get placements as Drug Inspector, Pharmacist in Government as well as Private hospitals, role in Preclinical and clinical research organisations and teaching positions in Colleges and Universities.

The four-year B. Pharmacy course and two years D.Pharmacy Course aims to develops the scientific knowledge regarding basic principles of pharmaceutical sciences including medicinal chemistry, pharmacology, pharmaceutical product development, natural products, pharmaceutical jurisprudence, etc. B.Pharmacy Course and D.Pharmacy Course is in high demand in academia as well as industry and also equips the students for diverse roles in health care sector including Pharmaceutical Industry (ranging from Research and Development, Manufacturing, Quality Control, Packaging, Quality assurance etc.), Hospital and community settings i.e. Retail Pharmacy, Drugs Control Organizations and Clinical research etc.
